I created Be the Beautiful Life as a deeply intentional endeavor to help individuals embrace a more present, connected, and meaningful way of living. Rooted in the philosophy that “it is only in living and in being that we will ever become,” my vision hopes to inspire others to discover beauty and purpose in the everyday and to foster personal growth through an authentic engagement with life’s experiences.
As founder and chief executive director, Be the Beautiful life encourages people to savor life’s beauty and cultivate a deeper sense of being. This approach is symbolized by the majestic live oak tree, representing strength, growth, and unfolding the potential within each individual. I see life as a continuous journey of growth, transformation, and strength. My initiatives with Be the Beautiful Life aim to create a variety of bespoke spaces, experiences, and events that encourage mindfulness, creativity, and joy.
By immersing oneself in the present and actively participating in life’s enriching activities, Be the Beautiful Life invites people to step away from distraction and busyness and to cultivate deeper relationships, savor beauty, and explore the full potential life has to offer. I believe that this intentional way of being will not only enrich lives and help individuals unlock their inherent potential, but it will also create ripples of positivity that benefit a wider community and lead to a more beautiful life.
Born and raised in South Carolina, I grew up surrounded by the warmth of Southern hospitality. My upbringing instilled in me a deep appreciation for the power of bringing people together, fostering connections, and celebrating life’s most meaningful moments. These early experiences have become the cornerstone of my approach to hospitality—a belief that every detail matters in making people feel welcomed and cared for.
I truly believe that Be the Beautiful Life is not just a concept. It’s a way of life—a life that celebrates art, culture, travel, humanitarian efforts, and the culinary arts—and all while nurturing meaningful human connection through bespoke experiences.

I am Brontë E. Mock, co-founder and creative director at Be the Beautiful Life, and daughter of founder R. Shannon Mock. I approach this company with the belief that experiences and people matter exponentially more than things and seek to create meaningful experiences that inspire individuals to embrace beauty and joy in their lives. Drawing on my family’s values of prioritizing people and experiences over material possessions, I envisioned a company that would highlight and share my family’s diverse creative talents and capture the value in bringing those abilities together to create and share beauty in a natural and intentional manner.
My talents and interests in the culinary arts and visual arts are accentuated by my father’s talents and passions for interior design, gardening, and travel; my mother’s teachings in writing, photography, and humanitarian efforts, as well as many other art forms and distinct talents from my siblings—all things that have added significant interest, joy, and beauty to my life. My main goal with Be the Beautiful Life is to provide people with access to not only beautiful objects but the stories, experiences, and connections that give them significance.
Having experienced an upbringing of beauty and value, I was taught to share my talents and expound upon their value by actively living and teaching others to recognize talent and beauty. For me, it seems only natural to create a space for people to access and benefit from the creations and beauty that have come so naturally to me and my family.
This is an emotionally driven company for me. Along with sharing my innate passions with the world and creating beauty through words and actions, ultimately I seek to access people’s desire to better themselves and their surroundings. Growing up in an increasingly negative world where it is far easier to find and focus on the bad, I want to remind individuals that there is so much beauty in the little things. I desire to create the necessary spaces and experiences for people to remember that good.
I genuinely believe that experiences and memories are the true creators and catalysts of happiness and beauty. Things are not beauty—the people, the stories, and the experiences that accompany things are what make them inherently beautiful.
Passion is undoubtedly contagious, and I believe that Be the Beautiful Life will offer the things, people, places, opportunities, and experiences to spark the genuine desire to be and become a more beautiful life.
